You can quickly lock and unlock LifePod XT using the touch-sensitive Smart Sense™ digital keypad, weatherproof HD biometric scanner, or backup manual key. LifePod XT features an airtight sealed interior, achieved through side compression latches and an inner rubber gasket, ensuring protection from environmental elements. It is weather-resistant, airtight, dustproof, and even floats, meeting TSA guidelines for secure transportation.
Powered by a 9V alkaline battery (not included), LifePod XT offers a battery life of up to one year under normal use. Additionally, it can function as a water-resistant case even without a battery, thanks to the front rubber keyhole cover disguising a hidden micro-USB port for backup power in case of a dead battery.
