The Gardall 171718-2 UL Burglar & Two-Hour Fire Safe boasts a 4-1/4” thick door with a recessed anti-pry design, complemented by 2-1/2” thick walls. The door features five active bolts, each with a substantial 1" diameter, extending deep into the safe's body. Additional security measures include an independent re-locker and hardplate to prevent drilling attacks on the locking mechanism. Standard features include a combination lock, with an electronic lock available as an upgrade. An innovative "shear" handle adds an extra layer of protection—if someone attempts to force the chrome handle with excessive pressure, the shear pin on the handle snaps, allowing the handle to spin free. For enhanced security, a center bolt-down hole enables you to anchor the safe to the floor.
