Hornady 98235 VEXIS™ Night Guard® Handgun Safe
The Hornady VEXIS™ Night Guard® combines fast, contactless handgun access with the discreet appearance and everyday convenience of a bedside clock. Patent-pending palm vein recognition reads the unique vein pattern beneath the skin and verifies an authorized user in less than half a second, without requiring contact with the scanner.
The system can store up to 10 palm vein patterns, and biometric data remains encrypted and stored locally inside the safe. A programmable six- to eight-digit keypad and two included backup keys provide alternate entry methods.
A quiet, spring-assisted drawer opens to reveal a padded compartment for a handgun and other valuables. The 14-gauge steel exterior housing and hardened interior locking lugs help resist tampering, while an included security cable and pre-drilled mounting points provide two ways to secure the safe to a stationary structure.
The dimmable clock display can be adjusted through five brightness levels or turned off. An integrated USB-C charging port can power compatible electronics while the safe is connected to AC power. The Night Guard® operates with the included 12V power supply or two 9V backup batteries, keeping its access system available during a power interruption.

One-Year VEXIS™ Safe Limited Warranty
Hornady Security® warrants the VEXIS™ Safe to the original owner against defects in workmanship or materials during normal use and service for one year from the date of purchase. At Hornady Security's discretion, an approved claim will be repaired or the safe replaced.
The limited warranty does not cover damage or malfunction caused by accident, negligence, misuse, improper installation, lack of maintenance, normal wear, or defects not reported during the warranty period. The warranty is non-transferable, does not cover the safe's contents, and requires product registration to obtain warranty service.
