Two 3/8” steel hooks lock under double steel dead-bars, reinforcing the piano hinge and making it impervious to cutting attacks. Even if a thief uses an angle grinder to cut through the hinge, entry remains unattainable.
Derived from the Stealth Original Handgun Safe platform, the ShadowVault SV1 surpasses its Simplex Lock predecessor with the S&G Spartan Direct Drive Deadbolt Lock. This UL Approved High Security Electronic Lock, certified by VdS, ECB-S, and EN, is housed in steel and protected by a drill-resistant hard plate, guarding against drill and punch attacks—the weaknesses of Simplex style safes. With nearly one million possible combinations, users can customize the 6-digit code and activate stealth entry mode by disabling the beeping. Twisting the keypad extends the dead-bolt, functioning like a door deadbolt latch, securing into a steel housing on the body side, also protected by a drill-resistant hard plate.
Upon entering the correct combination, twisting the keypad retracts the dead-bolt, and lifting the door is aided by the shock piston. The door's entire backside is lined with protective high-density foam, and the interior features one lower layer of egg crate foam on the bottom and an upper layer of pluck foam for customizable handgun storage. The foldable matte black carry handle facilitates transportation, while four pre-drilled bolt-down holes and included concrete anchors ensure secure mounting in a permanent location.
