Vaultek® SL2e-BK Essential Keypad Slider Safe

The Vaultek SL2e is a compact Essential Slider Safe that provides rapid keypad access to one handgun and a spare magazine. Its narrow vertical design can be positioned beside a nightstand, beneath a desk, on a bookshelf, or inside a vehicle without taking up the space required by a conventional top-opening handgun safe.

An optics-ready high-density foam holster accommodates compact and full-size handguns measuring up to 8.875 inches in overall length. A separate channel organizes one spare magazine beside the firearm, while automatic interior LED lighting improves visibility when the safe opens in a dark room.

Vaultek’s three-point precision rail system combines a lower guide with dual stainless-steel ball bearings. After the correct code is entered, the drawer deploys smoothly and presents the stored handgun in a ready position for convenient authorized access.

The five-button Smart Sense™ keypad includes a proximity sensor that illuminates the controls as the user approaches. It accepts a programmable four- to eight-digit master code with more than 480,000 possible combinations. Two included manual keys provide dependable mechanical backup access if electronic entry is unavailable.

The enclosure is constructed from rugged 16-gauge carbon steel and protected by a corrosion-resistant Covert Black finish. An anti-impact latch helps keep the drawer secured under force. The included ambidextrous mounting plate supports several mounting orientations and standard VESA 75 mm and 100 mm patterns for flexible installation.
