Vaultek® SL2i-BK Essential Biometric Slider Safe

The Vaultek SL2i is a compact biometric Slider Safe designed to provide rapid access to one handgun and a spare magazine. Its slim vertical profile fits beside a nightstand, beneath a desk, on a bookshelf, or inside a vehicle while keeping the stored firearm secured and ready for authorized access.

An optics-ready high-density foam holster accommodates compact and full-size handguns measuring up to 8.875 inches in overall length. A dedicated magazine channel keeps one spare magazine beside the firearm, while automatic interior LED lighting makes both items easier to identify when the safe deploys in a dark room.

Vaultek’s three-point precision rail system uses a lower guide and dual stainless-steel ball bearings to deploy the drawer smoothly and quickly. Once access is authorized, the stored handgun is presented in a ready position instead of remaining flat at the bottom of a conventional top-opening safe.

The SL2i can be opened with its high-resolution biometric scanner, five-button Smart Sense™ keypad, or either of the two included manual keys. The biometric system stores up to 20 fingerprints, including two administrative prints, while the keypad accepts a programmable four- to eight-digit master code.

A 16-gauge carbon-steel enclosure, corrosion-resistant finish, and anti-impact latch help protect the contents against unauthorized access. The included ambidextrous mounting plate supports multiple mounting configurations and standard VESA 75 mm and 100 mm patterns. The safe operates for approximately one year on four AAA batteries or can remain connected to power with the included cable.
