The Vaultek LifePod XR Basic Biometric combines high-capacity portable storage with personalized fingerprint access. Its configurable interior can protect firearms, camera equipment, electronics, medical supplies, and other valuable gear at home, in a vehicle, or while traveling.
A weather-resistant high-resolution biometric scanner stores up to 20 unique fingerprints for authorized access. The touch-sensitive Smart Sense™ backlit keypad provides a second electronic entry method using a personalized four- to eight-digit master code, while two manual keys supply dependable backup access.
The spacious interior features a high-density pluck-foam base that can be shaped around individual items. Pre-perforated sections make it possible to create fitted pockets for handguns, magazines, optics, cameras, drones, and delicate equipment. Protective crate foam in the lid helps stabilize the contents during transport.
Vaultek constructs the case from lightweight, impact-resistant TP3™ polymer. A reinforced steel interior hinge system and dual anti-impact locking latches provide additional protection against drops and forceful impacts, while the included steel cable allows the case to be tethered to a suitable stationary object.
Front compression latches press the lid against an interior rubber gasket, creating a weather-resistant, airtight, and dustproof enclosure. The LifePod XR floats with a load of up to 27 pounds and is recognized as a TSA-compliant firearm safety device when used according to applicable transportation regulations.
A single 9V alkaline battery provides electronic operation for up to one year under normal use. If the battery becomes depleted, a concealed micro-USB connection can temporarily power the keypad and biometric controls. Without a battery, the case can still function as a protective weather-resistant enclosure.
The modular XR platform accepts optional pistol racks, magazine racks, lid organizers, padded divider systems, and range-storage components. These accessories are sold separately and allow the interior to be reconfigured for different equipment and activities.
Vaultek provides limited warranty protection against qualifying defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Product registration may extend eligible coverage, and proof of purchase may be required. Damage caused by misuse, neglect, unauthorized modification, accidents, abuse, tampering, or ordinary wear is excluded.
