The Vaultek LifePod XT Basic provides high-capacity portable protection for multiple handguns, magazines, camera equipment, electronics, emergency supplies, and other valuable gear. This non-biometric model uses keypad and backup-key access for customers who prefer straightforward operation without fingerprint enrollment.
The spacious interior provides approximately 998 cubic inches of storage. A high-density pluck-foam base can be shaped around individual items, creating fitted pockets for firearms, optics, cameras, drones, and sensitive equipment. Protective compression foam in the lid helps stabilize the contents during transport.
A touch-sensitive Smart Sense™ backlit keypad controls Vaultek’s built-in locking system using a personalized four- to eight-digit master code. Two manual backup keys provide an alternate entry method if electronic power is unavailable.
The LifePod XT uses Vaultek’s lightweight, impact-resistant TP3™ polymer construction. Reinforced steel interior hinges and dual anti-impact locking latches help protect the contents during drops and demanding travel, while the included steel security cable allows the case to be anchored to a suitable stationary object.
Front compression latches press the lid against an interior rubber gasket to create a weather-resistant, airtight, and dustproof enclosure. The case can float with a load of up to 33 pounds and is recognized as a TSA-compliant firearm safety device when used in accordance with applicable travel regulations.
An integrated carry handle provides a comfortable grip when transporting a fully loaded case. Interior LED lighting helps illuminate stored equipment in low-light environments without requiring a separate flashlight.
A 9V alkaline battery provides electronic power for up to one year under normal use. If the battery becomes depleted, a concealed micro-USB connection can temporarily power the keypad. Without a battery, the XT can still function as a protective weather-resistant case.
The modular interior supports optional pistol racks, magazine racks, lid organizers, padded divider systems, mounting plates, and range-storage accessories. These components are sold separately and allow the case to be adapted as storage needs change.
Vaultek provides limited warranty protection against qualifying defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Product registration may extend eligible coverage, and proof of purchase may be required. Damage caused by misuse, neglect, unauthorized modification, accidents, abuse, tampering, or ordinary wear is excluded.
